THE PELETEX AQUEOUS FROTH AIR (AFA) FILTER

Peletex used nature’s example to design a major breakthrough in air filtration. The process mimics the way that nature cleans the air in a rainstorm. This process is known as nucleation.

The AFA filter was tested  and proven at Sandia National Laboratories utilizing their DF200 decontamination foam. This collaboration demonstrated that the AFA filter could trap particulates, gasses and liquids  to >0.1 microns with high efficiency. The AFA filter creates 160,000X the surface contact area of current single-pass spray- tower wet scrubbers.

Work with  Sandia Labs began in 2005. Future collaborations are anticipated.

The AFA filter and advanced technologies are being  developed  for numerous worldwide market applications. See below.
